Its really easy, what i did with mine was put my parking brake on and put the truck in reverse. Then i just touched part of the wire to each connection on the tail light plug. Once i found which one it was I just quick spliced into that. My light bar has the turn signals that chase each other so after it was all wired up I unplugged the trailer harness part and left it unplugged for a little bit and once it plugged back in it relearned the chase speed. But if your bar doesnt chase like that there is no need. Realy easy though.

im stumped guys, tried to splice it into the white wire coming from the tail light harness, and it still doesnt work. Everything but the reverse light function works. Im pretty pissed i guess ill put a call into recon tomorrow to see what they say. Any ideas??

They go about as fast as the tail blinks. It comes with a jumper that you cut once you have them timed right. I think I have the bully led bar, I got it at pep boys.

Did you try touching some of the bare wire to the pins on the tail connector? One of them shoulda worked as long as your truck was in reverse. I think ive heard somewhere that the wire colors are different for different years.
