Default Oil pan removal

I have a 04 1500 4.7l I have been trying to remove the oil pan. All bolts of oil pan are
out, the bracket between the oil pan and tranny have been removed. Can't seem to
get the oil pan down, and very little space between pan and block. Is there a special
tool to remove the pickup tube bolts?

never removed an oil pan, but if its anything like a tranny pan, just wedge something in between pan and block and pry it off. there is an rtv seal there holding it in place most likely.

No, its not that easy. It involves raising the engine to get enough clearance. Then you have to weasle the pan around the pump pickup. And thats just for the 2wd drive, The 4wd is a real pain.
