I recall some people talking about lifting their rear seat up an inch or two, to make room for a sub, or whatever you wanted. I tried to search for it, but couldnt find anything. I was thinkin about buildin my own box to save some money, and for something to do, and was thinkin of doin this to have more air space.
So for you guys with the seat lift, where did you get if from??

take and cut some 3/4 mdf board the size of the seat bracket that bolto the floor and then mark where the bolts go and drill it out then run your bolts though and bolt the seat back down....i feel its sturdy this way...the nut route just seems unsafe to me as the seats arent really seated and if you got kids you wanna be safe and not sorry if you know what i mean....oh and dont forget to paint the blocks before installing them....

i got about 5ft of 1.5" aluminum box frame scrap metal. cut 4 pieces of the correct length, made a template and drilled a hole at either end and another at the front for the support tab. Used the stock bolts, fit better than the bolts I bought at home depot
Cost me about $7. Also, I had to reverse my "rear seat fold down" mod, because with the seats lifted, you can fold them down with the bracket down.
