Basically the same shock, however I can find nothing about them being made by Tenneco, parent company of Rancho and Monroe.

Generally viewed as a mid quality product about the same as Pro Comp & Edelbrock.

Not a Rancho or Bilstein by any means, but a good step up from stock...

I've had no problem with the Rough Country shock. Definitely a step above the factory crap. I ordered and had them the next day. If it helps, I'd recommend them.

My dad had monroes on one of his trucks, and I didnt like them. I ordered the skyjackers when I put my leveling kit on, and they are definetly better than stock. Especially after the stock ones had 50k miles on them. Im getting ready to do my rear ones in the next couple of months, and I will most likely order a matching pair for the rear.

Monroe's in my experience are a pretty good shock. Where are you looking at shocks at? The shock warehouse also have pretty good deals, some with free shipping.

That's the same price as rough country's website except you save a few bucks on shipping. I've had no complaints at all with them. I'd go for it.
