Angry Starting off the new year on the wrong foot...

Parked out side my girlfriends house last night my truck was side swiped, didn't hear or see anything till I woke up this morning. No note or anything. Scratched the bed, dented and scratched the cab a little behind the rear door, dented and scratched the rear door, scratched the front door, and peeled a bit of the chrome covering off the front rim...and there's a $500 deductible on my insurance...Grrr...

The cop who came to fill out the accident report (wasn't sure if it was needed for my insurance or not) said to just buff it out instead of claiming it with my insurance. Funny thing is he said that from the front seat of his car without ever having gotten out to look at it.

The cop must think you have a magic buffer to tell you that you are going to get that out with buffing.
