Default Hypertech Max Energy

Does anyone have any advice on what fuses I have to pull to install this tuning for a 08 ram 1500 st? I keep getting an 7e wormcode error.

thanks,

KC

Most of us use Diablosport or SCT. You shouldn't have to pull a fuse to program. Might return it and get one of the two units I mentioned.

From past experiences a lot of the time when someone gets a 7e wormcode error they don’t have the key turned all the way to the run position. I would suggest checking that, but if you still get the 7e wormcode error or any other error message you will need to follow the instructions on the programmer and press “Y”. After you press “Y” the screen on the programmer should display the 1-800 number for Hypertech’s tech support. When you call be sure you have your programmer’s model number and serial number.

i have the max energy and have remote start. i did not pull any fuses and have no problems at all everything is fine. i think they say that to make sure you dont end up with a dead batt while your programming it. i read somewhere that if you stop the install halfway for whatever reason it will give you problems and mess up the programmer and your truck cpu then its reflash time. if im wrong please clue me in.

p.s. with the max energy im seeing average 21 highway with cap on bed and 20's non mds 5.7.
