Damn son, I got a cousin in NY paid around $350 for coil spacers (not sure of brand, but a poly spacer is a poly spacer), installation and alignment on his '08 1500 at a shop in the Middletown, NY area back in May or June. Now Middletown ain't but what 40 miles or so from Jersey?

And you may want to rethink that tire choice in my opinion. Start a thread on this forum and ask the general consensus on Goodyear tires.

But here are a couple cut and pastes on the Duratrac from one of my Off-Road sites:

I don't think this belongs in an off-roader website. It needs aggressive sidewall protection badly. I just want moderate all-terrain not to go through the deep mud, but I need EXCELLENT sidewall protection. These tires have been punctrured by orange tree THORNS!

Just bought a set of 31x10.5 x15 -- They have a little hum -- not too bad -- Feels like your diving a boat on highway . Have not had a chance to check off road yet. Wish I would have bought BF Goodrich Mud Terrain for the price.

This has been a really awesome tire until we got it into snow. So far it's been a pretty poor performer in both wet and dry snow - definitely a step down from our previous tire.

Yea read alot and was between TOYOS and these..although theres some bad reviews theres also the good ones and the tire ratings are pretty good. Actually going to be buying new rims with another set of tires 35's M/T's once the PRICEY leveling kit is installed and I have my astroglide in hand...LOL! For the commuting to work thought these would work well for me then would switch them out with the other rims and M/T's for playing off road! Thanks for the info, new here and appreciate the help! Actually calling a couple other places to see if I can get a cheaper price on the install..thanks again guy's! Actual price for the install and allignment is $411.00...The Kit is $272.00 which is where the $683.00 comes from..Labor rate is over $100.00 here...allignment $89.00...WELCOME TO JERSEY!!

dang thats high...but I paid 600 for my first kit (he supplied the spacer) and he f'd me so bad that he didnt even use lube..

He put a 1/2" spacer in...no written contract so I had to pay for services rendered. When putting my new kit in I also got to see how they stripped out the top of the shock bolts, forcing me to sawzall it off and buy new ones

Back to OP post, if you have a socket set, jack stands and a jack, some wood blocks, and a prybar it isn't that big of an install. I rented a PAP (which isnt big enough from Oriellys) and spring compressor, didn't use either. Just use the prybar to pop the spring out from the bottom side. The way the control arms are fabbed, you can only get the spring compressors on the front, making the back longer like a banana

Yup...you need them or shock extenders. I believe you come into a control arm issue if you dont get them. Shop said if I was to go any higher up front, I would have to look into new control arms. Sound right??

I have a 07 1500 2WD.
