Default 190 Just to Have leveling Kit installed!! What???

So I have the 07 quad cab 4wd hemi and went to my custom truck shop near me to look at a leveling kit. I want a ready lift b/e they come with the relocating brackets so i dont need longer shocks and would like to keep as much as my parts factory cause i have warrenty and they said 220 for the leveling kit. That was the same price as online but wanted 190 just to install it. Now I was shocked. I know you guys are going to say install it yourself but I dont know alot of trucks. I can do the easy intake and oil changer but anything have to do with big parts i cant do and rather have a shop do it and i think thats way to much just to install. I wish you guys lived near me so you could help me and show me how lol. 410 just for a leveling and install too much. I wish I knew more about trucks to do it.

That sucks, that is why shops make money. Get yourself a dodge repair manual and study it. A lot of people think it's hard so they never try it. Just remember, it's just nuts and bolts. If you take your time and if you don't know a lot about what you're doing, take pics so you have something to look back at and reference. I know I'd never pay someone 190 dollars to install 220 dollars worth of parts if I could avoid it.

I paid $80 for install/labor all cash. They said they would install my 3" body for $175.

You need some good redneck friends, we got mine on pretty quick and did a great job, no problems, I hate shops that try and rape people when it comes to stuff like that.

keep calling other places, or call back and tell them you got quoted a cheaper price, and then see if they match it. I would order your lift kit or level from an online site , then just pay them for the install

If you don't feel confident doing it yourself, then don't!! You want your suspension parts installed correctly so that they don't fall off and kill you or someone else. $190 with an alignment isn't so bad. Plus they will be responsible is something is wrong.

I had mine installed with the coil spacers, Fabtech shocks, and the alignment for $200.
