If you need the plastic clip to hold your tail light in place these people have them. Click the link below.

I noticed today that one of my taillights was loose, apparently the previous owner had broken both clips in that lens.I went to Lowes and bought 2 rubber grommets from their specialty hardware drawers,($1.04 I think). It is not as tight as the original clips, but it will work until I can get the proper ones.Thought it might help someone in a pinch.

Run a strip of silicone sealer on the backs of the lights where the plastic pins were.
Press them into place and stick them down with tape untill the silicones set and u should be good to go.
The silicone will be easy enough to allow the light to be popped off for servicing, but firm enough to stop any rattling & to keep the light in place.

You can get 25 clips from here for around $13 shipped.. I bought a pack and replaced all 4 of them and have many spares...

took 3 days to get delivered and they are even stronger than the stock ones..

Hey Guys-

The Dodge part # is 68084593AA, that is what my invoice says. I bought them last year for my 07 Ram Quad from my local dealer for $0.50 each, the list price was $0.73 each. Do yourself a favor and load up on them because you are likely to break them every time you access the tail light area. My dealer had to order them as well.

But while I was taking off my stock tails from my 07, I broke the black plastic things you stick the two rods through to "snap" and secure the lights in place. Now where can I buy 4 more of those? I broke both of them on both sides!!! And what are they called?

Thanks
They're called plastic rivets and you can definitely buy them online. Just search for them under your make and model and tail light plastic rivets. They're inexpensive but you should definitely price shop. Pretty sure Amazon sells them...
