Default Tail light plastic clip things HELP!

Hey Guys,

well I installed some new LED tails tonight from Racer Union. LOVE THEM!!

But while I was taking off my stock tails from my 07, I broke the black plastic things you stick the two rods through to "snap" and secure the lights in place. Now where can I buy 4 more of those? I broke both of them on both sides!!! And what are they called?

Thanks

It's called being too excited!!!! Now you have to rummage through a junkyard or go through the dealership for a $2 dollar part. Sorry bro, there's no easy way to get those, that I know of.

Explorer9950, If you broke them that easy, then everyother installer is doing the same.
Try the odd-replacement parts rack at the auto parts. I would begin calling it the plastic "tailLight/lens retainer clips" until told otherwise. Of course then, check with the dealerShip for them.
I checked the service manual for a nomenclature, nothing.

I have the same problem. Did you ever find them?
If so, where and how much?

Guys,

I have the same issue and the tail light rattling everytime I shut the door is aggravating to say the least..
Dealer confirmed that they only sell the clips with a new set of taillights too..
