I know Dodgenitto has put quite a bit of weight in his truck, and I had 2000 lbs. in the back of my truck for about 5 miles, so your truck should support 1170 lbs.

I've done a pallet of lanscape stones down the highway at 80 km/h. I think you should be fine just remember more weight means you need more stopping distance.

I hope it will do it just fine. My 4.7L Single Cab handled 1,300lbs of Big Ol tires up the Cajon pass (about 40 miles) and did it with ease. Actually got better gas mileage coming back too.

you can do the 1170 and then some. I did just over 2000# of river rock in mine pre-air bags. Scrubbed a little on bumps but other than that was fine...
