ok so the other day i was in syracuse, ny visiting my girlfriend and they got a butt load of snow compared to where i live just an hour away. anyway, i had to put the rig in 4 wheel drive for the first time this season and when i started out in traffic, like from a stop light, my front end shook side to side until i got up to speed, say like 30 mph. what is the issue here? i have a leveling kit and i just got an allignment about 3 weeks ago. it's on warranty obviously, but i don't want it in the shop again if i don't have to bring it there.

was it in 4x4 when it was shaking and sliding?

if so, thats probably just the front end spinning out.

could be getting a little traction which is why its bouncing, but not enough to keep it from sliding...

Shaking in 4wd with a spacer is a common complaint. It seems the only "fix" is removing the spacer.

thanks guys. i actually had to use the 4 wheel drive last night and it didn't do it. maybe it did it because it was the first time it was actually in 4 wheel drive in a long time.
