i installed the mopar cold air intake i my 07 dodge ram.... after i installed it i noticed at cruising speed a clicking noice from the engine so i think .....also sounds like exhaust leak reallly don't know.... but the noise is steady until you push the gas on down and go....but then slow back down to criuse speed at low rpm and starts right back.... never heard noise until i installed intake....any one else had this problem...

That's the egr valve opening and closing. It echoes in the tube. It will slowly drive you crazy. lol

The 'Frog is right, is simply the sound of the EGR opening and closing. It's the reason the super restrictive, plastic Hemi hat was on the truck from the factory in front of the throttle body. It is a big resonator to baffle the sound of the EGR.

I have an all metal tube and it really echos the sound. The plastic tubes are not near as noisey flow just as well and even keep the intake air temps a little cooler.

I'm used to mine, don't even notice it any more unless I think to listen for it.

Is up to you, but I'd rather have better flow and performance than sticking that super restrictive hat back on just to not hear the EGR.

So I'm guessing that the cai that mate up to the Hemi hat are pretty much worthless. I really like opening the hood and seeing Hemi.

Yep. The Hemi hat is where the restriction is, due to turbulence caused by the baffles. I have an Airaid MIT pipe with a K&N drop-in filter in the stock box and I can't hear it clicking at all.
