yup..and for the front brakes I used two at the same time in order to cover the pistons. Worked pretty good and quick.

Always used a c-clamp but always wanted to use these. I'm gonna get one, been looking for a reason to buy a new tool.

ive got one of those spreadders but b/c the c clamp has a longer rod on it to turn with, it makes it easier to use.

Yeah, I've always used a c-clamp. It gives you a little more leverage like weed said. I've always used the c-clamp with the old pad in place over the pistons. It makes sure they both go in at the same rate. Just my way of doin' it. Good choice on the ceramics, only way to go for good stopping power.

so you dont need a special socket for the caliper bolts? apparently my buddies 2nd gen had some kind of hex bolts on it last time he changed his brakes.
