Well my dad has been saying he wanted to get some new parts for the truck and well its finally going to happen but not the way he expected. Black Ice sucks!!!!

 

Didn't look that bad until i seen the bed all banged up..Yikes.

Yes black ice sucks, but with the looks of the ground cover....the next mod should be new tires especially living in PA where you have potential for lots of snow and crappy weather.

 

I remember then first time I found out what black ice was.......it wasnt good either.

 

And the grand total is now in at 5245.57 and 26 hrs in labor. Parts alone total 3023.45

 

get rid of the suck years lol

Just curious, how did the damage occur? Looks odd cause its peeled backwards in the rear.

 

That sucks man. But maybe you can get yourself an upgraded bumper or something out of the deal.

Also, where is Houtzdale, never heard of it.

Well how he told me he spun around and the first thing to hit was the front off the guard rail then it spun a little more and the back actually ended on top of the guard rail and since he was on the on comming traffic side he decided that if he stayed there he would prob get hit from someone else so he put it in 4low and climbed off rail thats why its peeled back. I guess it was bad in that area this morning cause the only tow truck co in like 20 miles both trucks were out so I got out of bed took the come along out and pulled the front bumper out of the front wheel and drove it home. Cop said if you can drive it home I wont give you a ticket


I wish it were that easy our auto insurance sucks and they try to low ball us our last accident we had to get the body repair guy to call cause they wanted to use all aftermarket/used stuff cause it was cheaper. So after this we are switching to state farm its 30 times better. Most people have never heard of houtzdale its a little town in the middle of pa with 1 stop light, 3 gas stations and 1 grocery store the only thing we have going for us is a car dealer too bad its a ford dealer and not dodge
