Default Lockable Glovebox/Center Console

Has anyone tried or found a setup for a lockable Glovebox or Center console or front underseat center storage setup for the Ram? Ohio has a concealed carry law now but to take full benefits of the law, I need to have a section of my truck that I can lock to put my gun into when driving. I was kinda bummed when I saw that the Ram I had bought has no locking sections. Anyone got any ideas?

Read the wording of that law veeerrrry carefully. I got out of a conviction for much the same circumstances.
My doors were locked and the officer admitted to my unlocking my doors to exit the vehicle during trial.
Locked doors = 'locking compartment' for me, there is now going to be a revamped version of the law and I won't get away with it again.
Just a piece of advice if you wanna push/stretch the word of the law.
Ours stated "locking compartment" it did not say anything about being a seperate compartment from or inside the cabin.

Check out this link. Item #5 looks like it will fit nicely under the seat. I have item # 4, a little too large.

Man your laws suck. In Georgia it only has to be locked up if you DON'T have a permit. If you do have a permit it doesn't have to be locked up or out of arms reach.

Georgia is great about stuff like that, especially in the back woods. Shoot first, ask questions later. A dead man tells no lies. I'm soooo ready to move back home to Georgia. I'm in Florida now. Heaven forbid I shoot the SOB that breaks into my house. I'll end up going to jail and slapped with a "wrongful death" lawsuit. But now I digress....

Can't imagine it would be too hard to adapt an older locking glovebox latch to the existing glovebox. What sucks is then you would have an extra key to carry around.

I wish my seat did that. I only have the arm rest as storage. The bottom part doesnt lift up.
