The absolute cheapest lift kit that I have found that seems like it may be somewhat reliable is a 4 inch kit, I cant remember where for $1100... And that will give you space to shove 36's in. a 6 inch kit is your only way to go to 37's at which you are looking at $1500 plus w/o installation and not including cost of your 37's. Or you can wait a little longer save a few extra pennys and get your lift without having to budget buy.

If you are so concerned about money, why 37's? 35's are a lot less money. You can space your front bumper out 3/4" with some spacers and new longer 1/2" carriage bolts for tire clearance. With the bumper spaced a little your could do keys with 35's and enough room.

IMO the correct way to clear 37s (although I think it's a mistake to do so on an IFS truck) with a torsion bar front end is with a 4" suspension lift and then a 3" body lift. Is the strongest (although most expensive) setup. Anything less and I think you are asking for trouble...

IMO go with 35s, although you can clear with just a level kit and the right wheel combination, this leaves little room for any articulation, the proper way to do it is with a level kit (or cranking the bolts) and a body lift. Not near as costly as a suspension lift...

Dude my best friend has a 04 Dodge Hemi...... He has a 3 inch body lift and can fit 37 inch tires on 20 inch spinners lol kinda weird. If you want 35's all u need is a 2" leveling kit. Thats what i am gonna do soon.. So that is by far the cheapest way and you DO NOT need a 6" + lift kit

I am in college to, which is why I'm waiting to put a leveling kit on to fit 35's because i cant afford the gas on a part time job. But with a leveling kit you wont fill much difference but when you slap on some bigger tires esp. offraod tires, the ride will be a little more rough than usual and bumpy.

not to hi-jack your thread but i have a lift question of my own??? already have a 3" body lift that was on the truck when i bought it, now i want to lift it next month with some of my tax money!!! i dont mind paying for a nice lift but i have been looking at the fabtech 6" or the rough country 4-5"

I would like to run 37s but wont rule out 35s if i was to get the 4-5" on top of my 3 that would give me 7-8 inches would 35s look to small??? and does anyone have any good feedback on either kits??? the rough country one is around 1100 bucks where the fabtech is 1800 just not sure if 1 inch is worth the extra 700 bucks to go with the fabtech??? can anyone help???

So my parents are freaked out about it happening again, just wanted to see if they had any need to be worried. Thanks

Me personally, I like it when a truck hugs over the tire and that doent leave to much space between the tire and the upper fenderwell. But that's me. Like I was saying before I am going to run a 2" leveling kit with 35s. So I wont have much room left between the tire and the fenderwell but enough so I wont be rubbing. Its all about what you like, but with a lift that big you need tires bigger than a 35 bro.
