Default speaker question

Putting new speakers in the front on my 04 ram, i have the infinity sounds system but ipgrading front speakers. Just wondering what wire is positive and what one is negative for each speaker.

The right front speaker has a grey/ light green wire and a grey/dark green wire

The left side has a grey/yellow or orange wire and grey/light green.

These are the ones ontop of the dash.

Just wondering if anyone knows what wire is positive and what is negative for each speaker.

thanks

Ive got all the wiring info but Im curious to see why you need to know. I just want to make sure you are trying to replace them with another set of speakers because the Infinity amp cuts the frequency to them so aftermarket replacements wont wont.

Do you still need the colors?

^^^ Sounds like you may have one woofer out of phase...Wired backwards like you said. Cancels out the other woofer on certain songs.

The quickest and easiest home remedy way to do it is to take your speaker and connect a 9volt or other small battery to the terminals just briefly. If the the cones moved up and outward then the + side of the battery is to the + side of the speaker. If the cone moved inward then the + side of the battery is to the negative side of the speaker. They you can look at how the OEM harness connects and figure out the wiring. Hope all that makes sense.

So re wired them the opposite way and still were acting funny, so i ended up wiring right into speaker wires off the back of the deck and now they work perfect!
