I have a 2005 Ram 1500 Quad 2 wheel drive and this morning I had the vent selector on full defrost, then moved it to circulation of front and floor, then I wanted to move it to floor only, and when I did I heard a loud pop and it didn't change from front and floor. I have read many post, and I can't find anything like mine. Any suggestions?

 

sounds like the Blend door that is a common problem very expensive to fix usless you have a warrenty that covers it. You have to take out the complete dash to fix.

 

I tore the dash out and its the mode 1 door that is broken.

 

how long did it take to get the dash out?

 

25-30 minutes! Boat load of screws!
