ok, sorry guys no pics yet... i just got up and now i have to go to work in 10 mins.
the install wasnt anything major...
a few notes:
-the steering extention was a major PITA, i had to drop the rack to get it in and then use a rachet strap to get the steering shaft to slide up so i could get the rack back on
-the bed bolts were a bich... there is no room for a good sized breaker bar and my air tools wouldnt turn them. i thought for sure they were gunna break but luckilly they came out...
-the front bumper and frame cutting isnt too bad except my die grinder kept freezing up since it was so cold outside. lol
-also, the front bumper is a heavy SOB... i was able to keep my tow loops on which made it even heavier.
-i did the entire install by myself and the front bumper is the only thing that i could have used some help on
-air tools make the job much easier since there are some places where you can only get a few clicks on a rachet
-the radiator shroud extention kit is a worthless piece of crap... i just cut the bottom half of the radiator off and left it like that... it seems to cool fine since its winter here and i plan to do an e fan soon
-the gap guards are kinda weak... but they still look better than a big gap
-if you live in a salt state i would get some penetrating oil on those bed bolts
-IMO the directions SUCK the pics are blury as hell... looks like they were taken on a cell phone in the dark and then copied, and they rely a lot on the pics... the directions will say look at picture but you cant even see whats in the picture!?
thats all i can think of for now..
weed- if you could do that cam you can do this, no problem
and pics will be up soon... do i have to wash it first?
