I went up about an inch using large hex nuts and longer bolts

If I were at home, I would send you some pictures of my box and everything, but this internet connection I have here on the platform, is no good! LOL

Anways, I had my box built to my truck, and wanted 2 SQ FT of space. In order to do that I had to raise the seat at least 2". I just cut some square tubing up, grinded and painted, then called em good. COme to find out, the bolts that come factory for the back seats are grade 10 bolts, so I replace them with longer gade 10 bolts. ($25 later) I found that when i set the seat down, the fingers on the back of the seat would still slide into the latches, leaving about 1/2-3/4" still grabbing te latch. Like mentioned above, when you tilt the seat up, the back drops down.

Good luck, and let us know what you come up with. I think if you do an advanced search, then search for posts started by my Screename, you will find my post off when I got her all done. BTW, I ended up shy of 2 SQ FT. I think I ended up at around 1.9 SQ FT, with 50% poly pac. Good luck!
