check your local laws, most states they are illegal to drive on a public road with them on. and some even require that there is a cover on them when not in use

Here are some more pictures to show you more about how I ran my wires and all. Hope they help.

Relay power wire (you can just see the red wire on the left):

Relay ground:

Relay to switch:

Where I mounted the relay:

How the lights are grounded:

Everything else is pretty much under the dash and would require me to take it back apart. But I think you can probably figure that part our prettily easily anyway.

As far as where I ran the wires in the engine compartment, they are all behind the battery and fuse/relay box and then down the side by the driver side headlight and over to the lights themselves. I cut off a lot of extra wire from the relay. They give you plenty to run it just about any direction you would want to.

I remember looking into the legality up here when I first heard about the guys putting them behind the grille. I cant remember exactly what it said but Its legal as long as you keep the 55 watt bulbs in cause they are classified as driving lights that way. I dunno what you guys have down there though..

lol i had to drive onto the marine base here for a polar plunge event this weekend. the sentry at the gate actually asked me what the lights in my grill were for. i was thinking is this guy serious?! i told him they were fog lights and he just said "oh ok" and waved me through the gate. i thought about being a smart *** but the M-16 across his chest made me think otherwise!! lol

That is correct. They look different too because of the different function. Here are a couple of links to the lights on Amazon so you can see the difference. I WOULD NOT BUY THEM FROM AMAZON. You can find them cheaper elsewhere, like ebay where a lot of guys here have gotten them.
