Need your help making my decision
I am currently driving a 06 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 5.7L Hemi. Its got about 63,000 on it and I am stuck with the decision of do I trade it in and get another dodge or do I keep it. I would end up a little upside down in the payments if I get rid of it on a trade. The truck has been amazing to me and I love it. I am just worried about keeping it past the warranty. The warranty is up at 70,000. Is it worth running it out and renewing or do I just go on without one. Decisions Decisions!!!
Whats your opinions?? Do you guys know of these trucks having any major issues past 100k? I do mainly highway driving so the 63k thats on it is mostly highway.
Thanks for you help!!!!

I would stick with the truck that you have rather than moving to another truck if you love the one you currently have. These trucks are fairly easy to fix for the most part, so if something were to go wrong you could always fix it yourself if you have the right tools. But I am a guy who doesn't go to the dealer for anything except to buy my vehicles so my view may be skewed when it comes to warranties.

Only YOU can really know what you can afford. If you are gonna be upside down on it, then it doesn't sound like a solid financial decision.
If it were me, I'd take what you'd expect the difference would be in what you are paying now, and what a new truck would cost, and bank it each month.
This fund could be used for repairs, or at some later point, for a sizeable down payment on a new truck...

Thanks for the input guys. I think I am going to hang on to it and put the money into mods. I spoke to a few other guys not on here and they were pretty firm on the Hemi being a great motor and having a longer lifetime then most think. I tend to agree as long as normal maintenance it up to date. I do most of my own work so I know its done. ha ha but thanks so much for your input guys.
