Default Hemi...no power when i punch it???

I have a 04 quad cab 4x4 hemi 76,000 klm truck had all kinds a ***** untill last night I went to put the pedal to the floor and nothing....rpms went up slightly but no pick up. Truck runs fine other then that takes off fine and cruzes fine its just when your on hyway and and wanna floor it. I kinda get a very slight chugging If i keep trying.

Any one else ever have this prob?

when i hit mine like that, it has the power, but it kinda feels like its pulsing and not a steady pick up in power. kinda like a hesitation. maybe just the MDS?

That would be the torque management causing the pulsing. The PCM is limiting power to help stress on the tranny. That all went away with my Diablosport Predator.

As for the OP, you might try recalibrating the TPS. There is a how to in the FAQ section.

either that or you hit a dead spot in the trans. How fast were you going/what rpm were you at when it happened?

Truck is fine now only happened the one night which was one of our coldest nights....don't know if that played any part.It only happened when I was up around a 100klm/h, It was not the transmission I know that for sure. Hopefully thats the end of it.
I had a 98Chev Z71 that used to do this all the time, Boggled me and dealer mechanics for almost two years...ended up my MAF sensor was gummed up form the oil off my K&N filter .
