about to paint my rims

thanks, i was gunna get them powdercoated right away and then just decided ill paint them till summer hits just in case i decide to get a different set, only problem i hit was the little gaps between the spokes sucked, tried spraying from the back side and everything

They look good. The rims compliment your truck much better now that they are black.

Looks pretty good. Glad to hear that you are NOT going to leave them painted and will get them powder coated.

I do custom paint, and can tell you that even with adhesion promoter, and another trick is to put some flex agent in there to make it not chip as easy....but so much happens at the wheels that you don't realize, paint just doesn't stand a chance long term.

For wheels, powder coating is the only way to go.

a shot two weeks after i finished, still have to shine the tires to make it look a little better, they have been holding up fine so far

I did them back in 08 so if I had to guess I would say about 15,000 miles. That also includes two winters of salt and crap all over them and still no chips, peels or scratches.
