Default about to paint my rims

well i dont have a set of winter rims and these are a pain to keep clean, that and its really the only thing not black on the outside, so im gunna try and follow one of the DIY's for it and just sand them really good before hand, any other tips before i start?

and i fiqure if all else fails and it doesnt work out ill just take them to get sandblasted and powdercoated

Clean them really well, sand them up good and be patient with the painting process. If you take your time and do it right you should have a good result at the end.

i sanded them with 100grit till the shine was gone then followed it up with 300 then 600 and tackclothed it after that and then i assume its just like painting anything else style wise 10-12inches away when i spray ect ect

make sure you wipe em down w/ wax and grease remover, also I would use an adhesion promoter, otherwise you will have flaking and chipping and really regret it later! you can prime if you want. If you do, use a self etching primer to ensure adhesion.

well i got two of them done so i took a quick picture after i put them on, it was hard with the spokes to get in between so theres some light red every once in a while from the filler primer, but you cant notice it from a distance and it will get me through till the summer when ill powdercoat them
