New/ ready to mod up once i get back from afghanistan
Got back from Turkey from a 15 month tour and bought a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, 4.7L V8. Yeah nothing big, but I enjoy it. Only enjoyed it for about 5 months now I am in afghanistan...Anyways, looking to start throwing some money down on my truck. When I was home all I had time to do was a few audio upgrades and a new dual exhaust. I know I want some new rims/tires and a leveling kit. Thinking about getting 33's on 20's. I have 17's now so it will be a larger size. Don't want anything too large though because I am a daily driver (when I am home). Found these online, will they fit properly? Think they will look decent?

Almost too popular, although I don't remember seeing them that much in the Tampa area. My truck is a Black 04 Dodge Ram 1500, 4.7L V8 Quad Cab 2wd. I plan on getting a 2" Rough Country Leveling kit as well if that will affect anything. My biggest concern is that I don't want too much of a gap between the wheel well and the tire. (not sure if there is correct terming for that-newb) Any input

Welcome to DF and thank you for your service!
Here is a picture of my truck with a 2.5" spacer level on it to give you an idea of what it could look like:
My truck is an 05 2WD with the 4.7L, so basically the same as your truck just an 05 instead of an 04. Those are Nitto Terra Grapplers (295/70/17) on the stock rims. I was like you, I wanted to fill up the wheel well nicely. I don't think I could have gone too much bigger on the tire without getting some rubbing some place. Of course now that I've hung around here more I want a body lift, new rims, bigger tires, new exhaust, etc etc.
