I need to get a bumper and am gonna get one off Ebay.

I just need to make sure that 02-08 chrome bumpers are exactly the same.

rear are the same, front are not

What years are interchangeable?

 

02-05 & 06-08 I believe. Do not buy below 06, the guys on ebay are full of **** if they tell you an 05 will work on a 06, the headlights are different.

 

I thought the bumpers were the same, only the bumper cap and mounting brackets were different.

 

Only thing up front body wise that is completely interchangeable are the hoods. 02-05 bumpers, fenders, grills and headlights are completely different from 06-08's.

 

You guys are mistaken. He asked for the chrome piece, the lower part. The CHROME piece will mount up for all years between 2002-2008 Ram 1500s. Now a sport or laramie bumper is different after 2005. and the upper Fascia (painted plastic piece above chrome) changes after 2005. but if youy are simply looking for the CHROME, METAL, LOWER piece, it WILL work.
