so after having my ram for a month i just realized the 60 part of my 60/40 rear seats wont fold up, it will only move about an inch. Any ideas on how to fix this and/or remove the seat with out flipping it up? i dont think there is a latch because the 40 side just flips up, its not really a big deal now but i am planning a sound system in the future. oh and i have the metal part that folds out to make the floor flat.

 

Sounds stupid, but did you undo the straps with the buttons/snaps right below the seat?

 

mine gets hung up sometimes as well. Ive looked under it and its not catching on anything obvious. I just wiggle the shiiiiittt out of it and it goes up and down again.
Try toying with it a bit more. If no luck then start unbolting and take it piece by piece.

Every time I can't fold up the rear seat I just take out the car seat. Works every time.
