Default 06-08 ram1500 2wd 2.25 leveling kit clears 35's

I am looking rigerously for a mild lift/leveling kit to squeeze 35x12.50 terra grapplers on the stock 20's (2008 Ram 1500 2wd 5.7L QC). I want to start my first album on here with the install of this but want to make sure i get the right equipment. Heres what ive came up with...

1. I have found that readylift has a new 2.25 inch kit for the 2006-2008 2wd ram 1500 that states it clears a 35x12.50 up to a 9inch wheel. I plan on calling them and double checking on that. check out page 18-19( http://www.readylift.com/catalog/ ) and let me know what you guys think or if anyone has installed these.

2. CST has a replacement coil for a 3 inch lift but states it does not work with the "Hemi" ( http://www.socalsupertrucks.com/soca...2006&drive=2WD ) .

Any other options or opinions? Anything will help, thanks!

I dont mean to disrespect anyone, but isnt a forum meant for all users to help everyone? No support or any opinions is kind of a dissappointment. But no worries, I took chances and found out that you can clear 35's on a 2wd as long as you get atleast a 2.5 inch coil spring spacer and wheels that have a 4.5in backspace and -12 offset. I got my spacer from socal trucks (cst 3in shaved down by them) and a 1.5 inch block from rough country including shocks. Shocks for the front end are hard to find, I used the Rancho shocks that are recommended for the ram 2500/3500 4wd and they do just fine (4wheelparts wouldnt give me a part number when I was there, they lost all future business with me!!!) and the guys at my local Oreilly's were extremely helpful and got the shocks in the next day. I went with the XD Spy 18 inch (4.5in backspace -12 offset) and Toyo MT 35x12.5r18 (Truthfully a 35x13 tire). The guys at discount tire did a little bit of fender well trimming to ensure clearance of the tires (I didnt even notice). Hopefully this will help someone out....sorry about the quality of the picture, its from my phone.

Looks good RM-

I plan on doing the same with my truck soon, but will prob. go with Nitto or Toyo 275/65R20 which comes out to 34.09". I have heard that this will fit my 2007 2WD leveled with no problem. I cant wait for my stock goodyears to wear out...haha.

The lack of comments could be because that is a new kit. I had no idea that there was a 2.25" level for 2wd. Mine is a 2" but I'm not looking to fit 35s either. It should look real good. Make sure to post some good pics when you get it all together.
You will love the level - it gives your truck a whole new attitude. You'll get what I mean the first time you drive it.

Neither was I until I did it to my truck. I think it looks a LOT better when the truck is leveled out now.

Good lookin truck man, sorry for the lack of comments/help but like he said it could have been from it being a fairly new truck. Or maybe people just weren't on and then it got bumped off the page or something. Don't let it give you a bad opinion of this forum, people are usually more than friendly and helpful

Im not going to worry about it, I know I am new to it and am not one to let things bother me, but I will give my opinion when I feel its needed. No worries, all is good. I am out of town but when I get back home more detailed pictures will be posted.
I got a spacer from socalsupertrucks.com, give them a call. Its a cst 3 inch spacer that they shaved down (thats how they do all 2wd rams). Total height when I measured them was around 2 and 3/4, just call them and tell them that you want that spacer shaved down for a 2008 2wd dodge ram 1500. If you have the hemi make sure and tell them that too. If you dont have the hemi (hemi is much heavier), you can get new springs insted of spacers- http://www.socalsupertrucks.com/soca...2006&drive=2WD .

After installing that spacer, you will have to get new shocks! I found Rancho RS5000's p/n RS5279 work perfect. After new shocks and spacer, I got 3 inches of lift. I got the rough country 1.5 inch block, ubolts, and shocks for the rear. TO FIT 35'S YOU WILL HAVE TO RUN A WHEEL THAT HAS A 4.5 IN BACKSPACE AND A -12 OFFSET. I got the XD spy 18 inch wheel with 4.5bs and -12offset and Toyo Mud Terrain 35x12.5r18 (measures 35x13) and discount tire did minimal trimming on the finderwells to ensure no rubbing. It doesnt rub at all and you cant tell they did any trimming. Look at previous posts in this thread for my picture with these tires and wheels. More pics to come. Hope this helps.

Default Need help

Hey I have a question for everyone. I have a 2008 1500 2wd 5.7L. I got 3" Lift Spindles, 1.5" daystar coil spacers, Bilstein front shocks that are 2" longer than stock. I have 17x9 MT wheels with 4.5" backspacing -12 offset and 315/70/17 Goodyear Duratracs which come to about 34.5" Tires. Do you think I should have enough room or will I run into any issues? Not really trying to add a body lift but maybe a 3" PA Body Lift would help with everything too even though I'm trying to stay away from that. Also thought about maybe gettin 2" Rear Lift Shackles also? Any help would be great. Thanks
