All that through a stock torque converter? Put that near the top of the list!

I was really hoping for over 300 on both hp and ft/lbs. I am sure I will do more work and maybe supercharge it eventually. I have a dyno shop I work with and can get pretty much any parts.

def need longtube headers and y-pipe. if you want the power to the wheels to be better, get a torque converter. 4.56 are almost a necessity if you want it to be fast with 35's. i run 4.56 on my 4x4 (along with a bunch of guys on here) and its made the biggest difference with the butt dyno. you wont lose any highway speed at all. some say you get much worse mileage highway...i only saw a 1mpg drop if that

Yup, everyone else has about covered it......

But, isn't this just slightly depressing to anyone? I mean, the op has quite a bit of work done to his rig, and still isn't pumping out 300 to the rollers? Granted, a dynojet woulda yielded higher #'s (iirc), and you still have a lotta "simple" mods to do. But its just kinda sickening how inefficient these drivetrains are (trans and TC mainly).

No matter what budget you're working with, you can still squeeze some more power out. Big budget? Go with the gears + TC first. Won't see a big difference on the rollers, but the butt dyno will let ya know.

Smaller budget? The Y pipe and e-fan are a couple "cheaper" mods that are well worth the money.

That 1/4 mile time will go down quite a bit too by swapping out a smaller rim/tire combo.

Ah hell, Im just repeating everyone else at this point. You seem like you know a fair bit, just start hunting for some deals, and become very close friends with Truckin151 (forgive me if I got the name wrong). He's into the strip scene a little heavier than most folks around here, as far as running his truck that is. He seems to be on the up-n-up with running these Hemis down the 1320, if thats what you're interested in...

Thanks a lot! I am going to try and get a little me active on this website. I actually run a Chrysler Club aka Club-Cow (chryslers of wisconsin), and would love to get more trucks involved! I work at a shop and can get discounted parts/tunes/installs etc. My truck actually won best in class at the World of Wheels show in Milwaukee for 4x4 pickup. I will try to get some pics as soon as the weather gets better!

Thanks for all the help so far!

Let's see some pics when you get a chance. It is always nice to have a show winner on the forum.
