well i need a set of heads... im gunna try and get the motor pulled this weekend to see if there are any crank bearings bad but i dont think so... i found a set of heads on ebay completely rebuilt with any problems that these heads have corrected for like $500

 

id really like to swap in a hemi or 4bt but i believe i dont have the money for that unless anyone has one laying around with the computer and harness for a good price lol

 

I NEED HELP!!! I NEED HEADS AND A CRANK!!! i spun three bearings on the crank and scored the crap out of the crank and found part of a crank sensor in my engine so i guess someone broke off a crank sensor in the motor and just put a new one in... im not happy

 

I dont know if this is possible but maybe while your at it see if you can swap in heads from a 08 or up 4.7?

 

Sounds like it would almost be better and cheaper to find another engine man. Sry to hear about the bad fortune

 

yeah im just pricing out my options... if i can find the parts i need for cheap u may just check all my clearances replace any bearings i need to replace and get the block dipped and throw it back together until i decide if im gunna keep the truck or not... what would be the advantage of the 08 heads?
