Default 07-08 taillights

Will these tail lights fit on a dodge ram 1500 2002-2006??
Anybody experience with that?

I believe the housings fit but you may have to mess with the wiring a bit and buy new circuit boards that the bulbs plug into. Thats only if it works though. Somebody said there are only 2 bulbs in the 07-08 models where as there are 3 bulbs in the 02-06. In that case it isn't possible from what I know. IMO you would be better off buying an after market pair that looks similar to the 07-08 models that directly bolt up to your factory wiring instead of hacking up something that may not work!

No circuit board. They "fit" but JMB was partially right. the new tailights have 2 wiring harnesses that simply plug into the back of the tail light instrad of the older style with a board that 3 bulbs plug into, then screw into the light. so you would have to buy the harnesses/connectors from the dealer, tap into your wiring and wire it up. cant figure out why you would want to do this though, most go from the after burners to the rounded ones...

Thanks for clearing that up mmstar23! I have heard people talk about it but I have never seen the backside of the newer 07-08 tails so I wasn't sure. Love your truck by the way that thing is a beast!

Ringnalda506 I wouldn't even bother with that swap but thats just my opinion.

The problem is that the 02-06 use a separate bulb for the brake light and turn signal. The 07-08 use one bulb for all.

I was just thinking that it would make my car "look" a little younger.
And to be honest i do like them.
I first need to see a wiring diagram to see what i have to change to adapt the wiring
But thanks anyway
