5.7 water pump
Im trying to figure out if my water pump packed it in.
I have no coolant in the resrve tank and all the hose clamps are tight, but thiers a leak near or under the altenator, when the truck is running, antifreaze is running like your water tap.
When I got home, i poped the hood to check out a burning smell and discoverd no antifreaze, I topped up the tank and run the truck to circulate the coolant for tonight.
I could not find the orange coolant, but the green stuff will work for tonight, 20 miles of driving and I lost coolant
Today my truck was making a pinging sound, a lot like dentenation and my heater has not been working that great, last year I replaced the thermostat
On tusday Truck is in fo R/R
