Default Grille Decision

Hey guys I'm planning on changing my stock grille to something custom, home made kind of thing. So what I came up with is a that looks like the stock one but without the crosses and have it all mesh or something gutter guard material like. Then painting the mesh black and in the center in a gray colour having it written either DODGE or RAM (kind of like the ford raptor but a dodge version)

Tell me what you think?
I have a almond colour dodge ram QC

I like the idea. I think it's going to look good. I would right dodge on the left side of the grill and ram on the right. That would look sick.

gutter guard is only about 6" so without the crosses in there it would not work. you would have to use another material for 1 big pc

i actually have some wire mesh material that looks like gutter guard, its 36" tall by like 20' long.

I kinda had an idea for that...possibly that whole idea with the hemi badge in the lower drivers side corner or just the RAM badges in the very center (unless you have something personal, like a design you put on everything)

I also have an almond colored truck, I want to paint it to match then make the crosshairs black. Similar to someone on the forum with a white truck, maybe he'll speak up, but it looks pretty cool.

You could also use expanded sheet metal, It is pretty cheap and you can buy whatever sized holes you want and they usually tell you percent open space so you know you wont restrict airflow. Here is a link;
