Cool, glad it worked out. Are those Durango wheels on your truck?

Default 2006 Overhead Console with Homelink

I'd love to know if what you did worked? So many different stories here. I've seen with my own eyes this homelink setup in 2006 RAMs, yet the dealer tells me sorry no option. I'll looked high and low and just have a hard time getting an answer. Done everything short of breaking into someones truck who has it and taking theirs. (which I would never do) If yours worked then I have hope and will just continue looking for that hard to find peice. Any info you can give me on your console when you bought it would be helpful in my search.

Thanks!

Ask your stupid dealer what '56044864AB - MODULE, Compass Temperature,
w/Garage Door Opener' is. Maybe he can figure that one out...

LOL.... You bet I am, but this time I'm going in person. The Dealer is Frahm Dodge in Norco, and with this type of service and parts expertise they have got to rank among the worst dealers around. Those idiots didnt even hesistate to tell me nothing can be done. They went on with their story even so far as to say thier Techs and Tech Assist have looked into this on many occassions just to find out that if it didnt come from the factory that way it cannot happen. That part shows up clear as daylight in the manual, WTF are they thinking?? Thank you so much, I'm going to order this part (not from there) and make a point about it to them. For today I want to know what he says about the part number when I show it to them, I want this tool to work a little bit and then I'll bring my truck back to show him how it really goes down. Again, service like this from my local dealer just really stinks, why cant I have a cool Dodge Dealer? I miss Fullerton Dodge, those guy's in the parts department were nails, now I have some dudes who just do it because the alternative was something much less attractive. Thanks again HemiLonestar, much appreciated.

Keep in mind, if your truck didn't come with an EVIC/OTIS originally, you most likely won't have the pigtail it would connect to, which means after you install the module/console you're gonna have to do some splicing. Dealer will ABSOLUTELY NOT do that.
