Guys, please try to not make posts in the 3rd Gen technical section that should be made in other sections.

I've stickied a dedicated 3rd Gen Ram off topic thread here so that it can be used for just cutting up if you don't necessarily want to "share" with the rest of the forum, so please, if you don't want to go to the OT section to post, do so there. However, I encourage all of you to "wonder" around the entire forum and post. There is nothing saying you can't make a post to a guy with a problem in the Dak section if you can help him. I've noticed many of you guys never stray from the 3rd Gen Ram section at all.

We had to come down on another section recently about the issue as it really got out of hand to the point that people needing help with their vehicle started complaining about having to shift thru thread after thread of personal gossip, jokes, and other such topics that should be elsewhere on the forum.

This section is not so bad, except for maybe quite a few stereo related posts that should be in the audio section and a couple that should have been in a regional section. But, at the same time I do not want to give other sections we've warned the ability to say "but look at 3rd Gen Ram, they do it"...

I've asked the section mods to move any threads not specifically related to this section, and to link them. So, if you have a thread moved, let's not make a big stink about it.

A post within a thread that should be in this section poking a bit of humor or something like that is fine, but let's try to avoid entire threads that are off-topic in here unless it's in that one specific thread I put up.

Nothing to be sorry about 'Froggy, like I stated, this section is not nearly as bad as some others, especially for as big as it is and how many threads are created daily.

It's just we can't give guys sh*t about it elsewhere on the forum and allow it in other sections.

We are just looking to avoid the "What did you do last night?" or "Look at the size of the fish I caught" type stuff in the tech sections. It's great to be social with guys on the forum, just not in the tech sections...

Now if you guys start a thread in another section and want to make a single post here with a link to it so your buddies in 3rd Gen will be sure to see it, I have no problem with that. For example if you put an item up for sale in the classifieds and it's an item will work for a 3rd Gen Ram, by all means link to it in here...

Does anybody read the stickies? I was gonna bump it for a few days if it left the front page. Seems everytime I sticky something, guys always say "I never saw it, I never pay attention to the stickies"...
