Man, I didn't realize they'd hold up to that kinda abuse! Does he know what #'s he's getting to the feet? It def sounds like a beast. And Im with you, it's "funner" being the underdog and coming out on top. BUT, it usually takes a whole lotta money, time, and ingenuity.
This is why Ive come to gain respect for the fast lil 4bangers out there. I have a couple local buddies running 400-500hp (to the wheels) fwd's, that are BAD. Nothing cooler than watching a civic outrun a streetbike ('08 600rr, very mildly modded) by 2 cars. Granted, I didn't get to see too much of it, lol, I was chasing in the 'Rango
I still prefer my v8's all day everyday, but I love performance, no matter the form or fashion....
Edit: A couple of the 350-400hp cars are built with around $7k, car included. Ill admit, that civic mentioned ^ had $15k in the motor alone, but ga damn that was the scariest ride ever. Torque steer is far scarier than your a$$end moving around, IMO

"Yeah, its the yellow wire with the green strip. I don't know if you have an aftermarket air intake
, but I will give you the details for a stock box. There is a nut on top of the airbox that has to come off. There is a rubber bushing in the hole make sure not to lose it. There is also a pin that the airbox sits in down by the wheelwell in front of the air box, that just slips off of it. Now that the air box is up and out of the way, the TCM, is up by the passenger headlight. That is where you remove the wire. Take the cover off of the harness that goes into it. In case you don't know what it is, it looks like a box with cooling fins on it. Then there is a bolt holding the harness in take that out, ( it doesn't come out all the way, just loosen it and pull the plug out) Look for pin number 10, that is your wire. It is on the back side toward the bottom. Now you will need a very small flat blade screwdriver. There is a red clip that holds the wires in, take that off by prying it up on the right side. Then looking down in there make sure you have the right hole and you will see a plastic tab holding the wire in, there are a couple of holes that are empty check them if you don't understand what I mean. Take your flatblade and push up the tab down in the hole and pull the wire backwards out of the hole. It takes a little jiggiling but it will come out. I taped it up with black electrical tape and then put the red connector back in. Just reverse the process from the begining. I probably way over explained it to you but oh well. I left the wire in the cover making sure it wasn't hanging out and not pinched. I sounds a little harder than it is. It is the hardest just getting the damn airbox out of the way. Hope that helps you out,"
I have a 2000 dak and he has a 02. He said it makes the tranny feel great. On mine something must have been changed because it screwed up my shifting. My truck would no longer down shift into 2nd from drive or OD. at 40MPH in OD the truck went to drive and just dogged. So we know it works on 02 4.7 and from what I hear it works on hemi's to. It's up to you to try it, if you do it right you can undo it just as easy, like I did.
Good luck and thanks again to 2k2 for bringing this mod up to us 4.7 guys!

For the lazy.
OE... Good advice. I appreciate it.
I Emailed Hemifever last night, and his instant response was one that I was looking for. When I do drop the tune in the ram, I will be going with hemifever. His email convinced me of his confidence in letting me know his tune was safe. Also, I like the fact that it will be a custom tune to my truck. Very nice.
Im going to go ahead and go with the wide band also, if im going to do, do it right I guess. LOL
Gears=1700
tuner/wide band=700
not too bad. Hopefully it will be a whole new truck. I just wish I could talk my wife into the STS kit. Damn they are bad!
