True dat it sure is a good when you get to use your truck to help somebody. And you're right these trucks are built like tanks.

I have a 3.7. Tow...what's that?
Hey Wyseguy I have a 3.7 QC and I pulled my buddies Tundra out of a 3 foot ditch. Our motor has decent enough torque

chains = bad idea IMO.

20,000lb strap is what i use and wont ever use a chain....nice pull/service though

^^^+1 chains are dangerous when snatching like that. I am glad it all worked out, and that is awesome, but buy you a ****** strap and keep it in your truck they come in handy!

i heard pulling perople out with the front (ie your in reverse) can damage the front axel because most of the weight is on the front.
let me know if this is untrue!

yeah ive always planned on buying a strap, but i have never need one in the 2.5 years ive had my truck... now ill be buying one shortly... after my new tires next week, and my 3" torsion keys and the 2" add-a-leaf!
