Hello All, I just found this forum and searched and read (for a while as all newbies should) and couldn't find any info about band adjustments for the 452 RFE tranny behind a Hemi. I recently bought this '03 1500 Quad LB 2WD with 99K miles and unknown maintenance Last night, I bought the two filters and 6 qts of ATF+4 for the fluid/filters change, but cannot find any info (specs) for the band adjustments either from the Haynes Repair manual or Dodge forum.com for my tranny. There is a procedure in the Haynes book for the 46RE,47RE and 48RE, but nothing for the 452 RFE. Any help will be appreciated as I want to change the filters and 5.5 qts of the fluid ASAP and would like to adjust the bands (if possible) at the same time. Thanks

 

I found my answer on Yahoo. You can't adjust what isn't there. The RFE series has no bands.

 

That's strange, I wonder how it works without the bands.
