OE: those are both very nice kits, but im not sure how much lift that is. but if i were to go for a very nice riding/high quality kit and didnt want a big lift i would have to go for Carli! they have a 3" kit available right now and as we speak are developing a 6" that should be available very soon!

Yea mmstar, you got it better than me...LA paid for my tuition down at LSU, then back up at LSU-MC its up to me. I deferred my loans until after school (about 220k) which sucks, but I might be able to get a hospital to pick it up. I can't work right now and am working off of savings.

I messed up and spent all my money when I was in undergrad on a mudbike. about 7 for the thing and about 3500 in accessories. My parents paid cash for my truck for graduation which is cool, but now im stuck paying for gas in this hog, while not having a job. Luckily I have a friend with a house close, so rent is free.

Im looking forward to seein the new kit, but I really want to see a spot of mud on your truck lol

Thats a hell of a truck OP, Im sure Ive mentioned it somewhere before

And Im not mad atcha for the 'rents helping out. If I had acted like I had some damn sense when I was a young'n, I woulda gotten helped out more too. But, nope. Graduated from HS, month later started cutting trees for a living, got kicked out the house 2 months after that, moved in with the g/f and parents, moved into an apartment, bought a house at the age of 20, now almost 6 years later, here I am, married (been together for almost 11yrs, yikes!), same house, same job (plus another one). Maybe I shoulda carried my a$$ to the Navy after all

And to the cat from Jersey, since you said, Ill 1000000% agree, that place sucks, lol. Ive been to AC twice, this year and last, and......... yea, it sucks, lol. That city, in particular, is nothing but a buncha yankee (no offense to the other yanks ) mutts. Rude as hell, and no SWEET F***ING TEA!!!! lol, rant over....

BTW, back on topic, I don't quite know what I'm lookin at in those pics, but it sure looks puurdy, lol. Im still in the process of learning all this stuff. Good **** partner!

Edit: I too can at least say I got my a$$ back in school too. But, taking online classes, waaaay different than in person. I only have the book and a comp screen to tell me what the hell is going on. But Im holding down a 3.48gpa, haven't seen grades like this since kindergarden! Lol

Matt: so what happened to the mudbike? im sure you took a hit on it, but should have been worth some amount of money.

John: ill send you a PM and or let you know when im thinking about heading out that way!

4.7Ram: ya man, ive learned that anything worth having isnt easy, so im working my *** off in college and keeping a very nice job. My dad owns a tree service, but makes a killing here in FL, but he gets contracts with the cities and like i said...makes a killing....im going for engineering and hope to find a high paying job, but if not i have my dads company to fall back on, not exactly what i want to do...making sure everythings right and running estimates....but atleast i know i have a good paying job behind me....but its nothing concrete.....the work can stop tomorrow...

dedogg: thanks man, and you got a nice truck yourself. i really like that burnt orange! so tow mirrors on that bad boy and you'll be set!

Dude, you aint telling me...... Im in the residential business, so our work depends on the weather. And needless to say, it hasn't done nothing but rain here in VA. Hell, we're gettin something like 2in tonight! I make damn good money hourly, but not **** weekly, lol. Im averaging around 10-15hrs a week, plus weekends at my other job, which pays nadda, I make half as much an hr there, (literally).

Im reading up on the Class A CDL, got a good oppurtunity working for a big landscaping/pool firm (kinda ironic, we alwasy laugh at all the "bada$$" lawn boys/mulch layers, lol). These guys do the $50k type of landscaping jobs, hardscapes, handlaid driveways, etc. Plus pools too with waterfalls and ****. But that wouldnt be my job, I'd be transporter/equipment operator. Not exactly dream job, but gotta pay the bills somehow, till this school stuff pans out.

My ol' man owns a very prominent transmission shop 'round here. But I know jack about'em. He always told me to "work smart, not hard", and he said if he ever saw a wrench in my hand he'd beat me with it. Now I install tow hitches at Uhaul on my weekends, lol. The irony of it all!!! (damn I was a hardheaded punk, haha)
