has anyone ever done a vinyl wrap? it looks like i will just tape off the lines, lay down the vinyl, squeegee it out and then cut along the tape... sounds too easy

i still dont think you should do the flat black, but if you did, get that **** precut....cuting it along the lines of the paint and the next thing you know you have a white line around the whole thing from cutting to deep and hitting the paint!

I really like the idea of the flat black but i was trying to do that with my hood but the guy in body shop said that they couldnt do it because it would have two different types of clear coat. It was way over my head but i was pretty disappointed that they couldnt hook me up with the flat black on my hood.

that link was just to show you how that carbonfiber lookd on those cars. looks black from a distance but up close it is different. and there are companys that do the full vehicle wraps for advertising, they will do ANYTHING you want. there is a lady here near me that said show her a picture and she will duplicate it and install it.

Check in the yellow pages under signs and I bet you will find one near you, they can probably cut it to fit for you

I like the flares and the black scoop. I also agree with the idea of doing a vinyl wrap but I would have the local vinyl shop do it. Shouldnt be much being that its just the scoop.
