I've always used Mopar ATF +4. Just take your own container and buy it from the dealers bulk container. It way cheaper that way. Besides, its ATF. Unless you have a diesel with monster power, does anyone really need aftermarket ATF? It's not like you'll get better MPG's, and power. I run RP in my axles, and Mobil 1 in the engine, so I'm not against aftermarket brands.
On another note, with chrysler transmission history, so you want to chance anything in there but the Mopar stuff? I change mine every 15k and the filter every 30k. my trans temp never gets above 150deg in the summer here in Michigan. Just my $.02

Cheers for the advice weedahoe and RubberFrog. I guesss it's just the dealers trying to stiff me again, as RP is SOOO much more expensive than the Mopar atf+4 over here.

My local WalMart sells Mopar brand ATF+4, I think. I'll have to check the price on it next time I'm there.

Cool Anyone tried Amsoil transmission fluid?

I have a 2006 Mega cab 2WD Hemi (545RFE) with 60k miles. I have a friend that likes Amsoil oil & transmission fluid. The wear tests appear to support his opinion. Any other opinions out there?
