Try brake launching, hold the brake it, rev to about 1800rpm, then dump the brake and floor it. I get my best 0-60 times that way, just enough launch power without loosing time looking for traction. You may have to play with the rev numbers for your truck to find your sweet spot.

 

Now I have done that before but I only got it up to around 1300 rpm before I let her fly.

If you wanna make the drive I'll be glad to race ya! I'll prolly lose but o well it's all in fun. Whenever I get the money saved to get 4.10's I think my acceleration and mileage will both increase.

but gears will help eveything, except highway mileage but from what ive heard its minimul.
Ive got 3.55s so with you having 4.10s it would be pretty close. also im about to upgrade from 33s to 35s..talk about a dog! haha

 

Idk how much power and torque the 4.7 makes so idk to be honest, but mmstar has 40"s I believe and he could still outrun us both! lol There is a difference in power though.

 

But he doesnt count, diesels arent fair...

I think many hemi guys would be in denial here. But if you've ever seen the vids on youtube of 5.9 vs 5.7 anyone notice the 5.9 destroys off the line? I think our major weakness is the 46re.
