Default Ordering muffler today...quick question

I'm ordering my muffler today but I don't know what to get as far as inlet and outlet location. I'm getting a Flowmaster (I know Rustmaster, from what can tell it sounds best on my v-6) 50 Series Delta Flow, I know it's a 3" pipe and I'm gonna have it dumped behind the rear axle, I just need to know which one to order. Thanks

I think the stock one is offset on opposing sides, so in on one side and out on the other like this magnaflow http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=8146. If you think you'll have a problem w/ rust then flowmaster does make some of the mufflers in stainless now.

No problems with the rust here, I just know some of the guys on this forum hate Flowmaster. Thanks again.

My stock one on my 04 which is in my shed is offset/offset, but whatever you get they can make it work at the shop.

Make sure you post up a clip after the install so we can hear what it sounds like.

Lol, 2 posts in 2 mins, calm down fella!! I know the feeling, my ol' lady took my truck to get the exhaust done while I was working outta town. I couldnt freakin wait to get back! She wanted to surprise me and just wait till I fired it up to find out, but she didn't know exactly what I wanted. Boy that woulda been a surprise!! Lol

Congrats dude. I know there's a lotta hate for FM here, but you're not gonna see too much performance change, either way, with just a muffler, IMO. I've had my FM for a year now, no signs of rust, yet. Truth be told though, I will probably go with the CB vortex whenever I run another setup....

Now, just cause you're a 6'er, don't mean you're off the hook. We (I) still wanna see a video posted, dammit!!!!!

I have a K&N 57 intake already, and plan on a e-fan and a Jet Chip once work picks back up. I know it's still a heavy 3.7 and no matter what I do I'm not gonna get much out of it but...oh well! Even though I'm a "6'ER" I'll get a video up as soon as it's installed. Lol.
