So, I finally got my muffler to the shop today. The guys put in the new Magnaflow and replaced the resonator with a straight pipe. Sounds very nice, if I say so myself Pyro, your estimate was right on the money. I paid them 75$ for extra pipe and labor.
Now, what to do next... LOL

I should have taken the time to measure the existing muffler

So after entering in the year, model, etc.. I was shown that this:
Magnaflow Satin Stainless Oval Body Muffler 12259
would fit my truck. Right... it's about a foot too short.

That being said, I would like to get a Magnaflow muffler (single outlet) , for my truck. Can any kind soul recommend which model Magnaflow would actually *fit*? I measured the existing muffler last night ( after cursing myself ) and it appears to be around 30" long.

Thanks,

i forget what i ordered, its one of the biggest mufflers they make, but it fit right into the stock pipes, and was just a little rumble at idle, but then rumbled when u got on the gas, perfect exhaust in my opinion. you could still drive through the neighborhood without waking anyone up at night
