Nope nothing else needed for the trans temp, its already in there and ran off the OBDII port. The analog inputs will basically run anything with a 5v output (like a wideband, oil temp sensor etc.) so I would think it probably could as long as it reads right.

So you have the gauge just plugged into the OBDII port all the time? Does the gauge shut off when you turn the truck off? I'm just wondering, since doesn't the OBDII port have constant power? I could be wrong, but I thought when I plugged in my SC to the OBDII, it powers up even if the ignition is off.

It turns off with the ignition.

Thanks truckin for the input. I should be getting one soon. Looks like over at moes I can get the SRT10 pillar and custom ordered gauge for just under $300 shipped. I'm going to be taking a 3000 mile trip here soon towing around 4000lbs so I convinced the wife that its cheaper to buy the gauge than replace a transmission. She was all for it then.

Just be sure you get the right version (one for the 03-05 and one's for the 06+), the 03-05 need the SR version of the gauge due to the different BUS. If you get the wrong one it will not work with your truck

Will do, it looked like he had a box where I am to enter the year, make, and model of my truck for the gauge. Just gotta decide on color, lol. Probably just stick with green since all the dash lights are green.

If you are looking for the AI you might want to look at other sites besides Moe's. I emailed Bob over at Moe's about why the Moe's site makes you pick one face and bezel when the most current AI gauges come with multiple faces and bezels all in one package. He never responded which I was kind of disappointed by bc I always buy from Moe's but this time I went with a site that I knew was selling the most up to date model. Not sure if the ability to have different faces matters to you but it did to me so unfortunately I had to buy my AI from someone besides Moe's. Maybe Moe's site just needs to be updated but since I never heard back from him I don't really know.

I ordered mine directly from aeroforce and it only came with one face/bezel. But thats not a real big problem for me since I knew from the start that I wanted to have the silver/white/white combo.

From what I read it seems like they changed them in middle to late 09 and started adding multiple faces/bezels to the package.
