Low Fuel.
Mine comes on at about 23 miles to Empty. I've driven for 20+ miles after it says "zero". The most I've put in my 26 gallon tank was 28 gallons... Probably could have driven a lil farther, lol.
Oh yeah, and that's getting between 15 and 17mpg.

Sure you got a 26 gal tank...? With a 6 gal reserve, you might have a 34 gal tank.
Really? because my truck says i have 26 gallon tank, and when it dings and i feel it up it only comes to 22 gallons.... so do i still have 4 gallons left lol
the lowest fuel i've ever gotten said DTE was 1 mile (i was in the middle of nowhere searching for a gas station since 36ish miles to empty). When i filled up my 26 gallon tank, I seem to remember putting in 26.2...which means the tank was probably empty and the lines were close...
So apparently, my DTE is really freakin accurate.

Coming back from up north one time I my gas light went on and I looked at my display about which said 30 miles or so (give or take). I don't really remember exactly but I was close to home so once I got close to the gas station I was on "0". I still had a couple miles to go and I made it no problem. I don't think those overhead displays are 100% accurate but they are usually close. My guess is that there is some kind of reserve in our tanks.
Mine on E and after driving about 20 miles on low fuel took 25.8 gal. I only did it once. I rarely ever let mine get below 1/4 tank. Got to keep enough fuel in the tank to keep the fuel pump cool.
Same here, but I've only let it get that far a time or two. Fuel pumps are expensive.
