For comparison, my 4wd ran 15.9 @ 86 with the tuner and intake. That's what the extra weight of 4wd is doing for me. A cheap route to waking up these trucks is a torque converter and efan conversion, followed by headers if you don't mind the upkeep.
My brother had a TRD supercharged 96 4Runner 4wd. It ran 15.9s without any other work. As you know, it runs kind of lean and really needs a way to add extra fuel to make it safer and make more power. I can't imagine 12 psi with the aftermarket ECU. He traded it for an 05 4Runner v8 Sport AWD with hopes of supercharging it only to find out Toyota gave it rods made of balsa wood. It may soon be replaced by a Kia Borrego Limited of all things!
The 4Runner shared his driveway with his 04 Supra -- SP57, built auto, torque converter -- a 505whp daily driver with great manners. It made usable power from any speed rather than the top-end-only Supras are stereotyped to have. It did trap ~122 mph on pump.
The Supra was replaced last year with a Mercedes CL65 AMG. It does those numbers stock and will only get better with mods once the warranty is up.

at least your truck doesnt sound like a wet fart going down the track..
also, the gears helped that 4 runner quite a bit, but it looked like he had some bigger meats on there too.
your truck looks badasss

i will be doing that in the comming weeks.
so it seems my truck ran what is supposed to. What upkeep are you refereing too?? I'm defenitly doing intake exahust and headers on it..probably not messing with the converter yet. And tell your bro to leave the MB alone...Those things like any MB product are unreliable as hell. especially modded.
I assume you know Marko's Supra. Here is his Benz:

All it has is upgraded intercoolers, a tune, and drag radials. Note that these cars weigh 4500+ lbs! I don't think they're all that unreliable as long as you stay on top of maintenance. Then again, I owed DSMs for 10 years so maybe my perspective is off! I have a Subaru Legacy GT somewhere north of 400whp as my money pit. Ya gotta waste your money on something -- it might as well be fun.
