Default Email Tunes?

I want to save my dyno tune for when I do more work and a couple local shops told me about email tunes where I send my stock tune to them and they whip up a custom one for me for like a hundred bucks. Its obviously not the same but has anyone done this? I looked into it from a couple of the shops linked on the DiabloSport website. Any info on this would be appreciated, it seems like one of the few more inexpensive mods to do before I start doing some serious work this summer

well, of coarse it isnt going to be as good as a true dyno tune, as it sounds like you already know that. but they are definitely better than a canned tune, or no tune at all. there are tons of guys out there using "email tunes" just make sure you are getting your tune from someone who knows what they are doing, and it will be a nice mod.

What tuner are you using BTW? I have email tunes from Marty at KRC and he is doing a good job. I cant see the differences it them as things get tweaked. Make sure you export and save your stock tune. I keep all my old tunes and data logs associated with them.
